I am an Irish Sign Language/ English interpreter based in Ardee, Co.Louth however I am willing to travel throughout the North East of Ireland. I qualified with a bachelor degree in Deaf Studies from Trinity College Dublin in 2019. Since qualifying I have been working free-lance on a full time basis.

As an interpreter I have experience working within areas such as the general community sector, educational, social settings and religious interpreting. As part of my continuous professional development I volunteered in Lourdes to increase my exposure to religious sign and work with a variety of clients of different ages and backgrounds.

I am currently a member of CISLI, the Council of Irish Sign Language Interpreters, who are the professional body for sign language interpreters in Ireland. As a member of CISLI I adhere to their standards and follow their code of ethics. I’m also a member of Dundalk Deaf Group.

I volunteer in a number of clubs in my area. I have a keen interest in all types of sports and coach both soccer and Gaelic teams. When I am not working or coaching I enjoy swimming, exercising and volunteering in my local nursing home.
