Natalia Gryzlova

I am a freelance Deaf relay interpreter and a member of the Council of Irish Sign Language Interpreters (CISLI) and the European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters (EFSLI).  I have been involved in the interpreting world since 2009 in variety of settings (e.g. medical, legal, mental health, small and large groups, deaf blind, employment  and immigration). I am experienced in working into Irish, Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian and International Sign, USSR Sign Language. I have provided translation/relay-interpreting for many foreign Deaf sign language users and Deaf people with various ages and backgrounds. I am based in Co. Louth but am willing to travel to all parts of Ireland.

I am currently undergoing a 20-ECTS training course, “Introduction to Deaf Interpreting”, via the Centre for Deaf Studies to become a Deaf Interpreter; I am due to finish this course at the end of 2021, and will become a Registered Interpreter at that time. I have also received training in the Justisigns Programme and EFSLI workshops. I obtained a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Care of Persons with Special Needs, in Ballyfermot College of Further Education in 2011. I follow the CISLI Code of Ethics for Irish Sign Language Interpreters.

I am an active member of the Deaf Community and participate in Dublin Theatre of the Deaf. I have an high interest in Garments Designing and sewing. I have received Master Degree as an Engineer majoring in Garments Designing.
